Welcome to Wight Counselling Training Institute. We are a team of specialists who have 20 years of counselling experience and now provide a high standard of counselling training on the Isle of Wight.
These courses are available to both people looking to become qualified counsellors as well as individuals in other sectors who want a formal qualification in counselling skills to support what they do in their job. The training is also suitable to those who simply wish to improve how they interact with themselves and others in general.
We are committed to making courses varied, enriching, and fulfilling, offering a blend of group and experimental training. Our philosophy is to give each student the chance to actively develop their confidence as helpers of other people by practicing counselling skills in a supportive educational environment.

Courses
We provide three separate courses for people seeking a formal qualification in counselling, all of which WCTI are now enrolling for.
- Certificate in Counselling Skills (Level 2 and 3)
- Professional Diploma in Counselling (Level 4)

How To Enroll
All you need to do is get in touch with a request for an application form. Just fill it out, send it back to us, and we will contact you within 24 hours.
This process is followed by a brief interview, allowing us to discuss course content and understand what you want to get out of counselling training in the Isle of Wight.
You will then be officially enrolled in the course, with the next one starting in September 2022.
About Us
We follow BACP and UKCP guidelines. Our team, comprised of six counsellors who specialise in different fields and have been involved collectively in counselling practice for over 90 years and now deliver accessible, varied counselling training for individuals with a wide range of goals.
